The Balcón de Los Pedroches family welcomes you to a region that has been part of their lives for generations.

As the landscape changes with the passing of the hours, the table fills with products grown right here on this land: Iberian ham, artisanal cheeses, extra virgin olive oil, meats from the pasture, and seasonal specialties. Then, as night falls, it’s time to look up.

With the help of an astronomy educator, you’ll learn to identify stars and constellations and discover the stories and phenomena hidden beyond the horizon.

  • Accessibility: This experience is suitable for people with limited mobility.

Please note that the culinary event and the tour of the region can take place as scheduled as long as conditions allow us to ensure the safety and quality of the experience. If weather conditions require it, the dinner or tasting will be moved to the panoramic lounge.

If cloud cover prevents direct observation, this part may be replaced by an astronomy outreach session on the constellations scheduled for that night, celestial mythology, and the main phenomena in the sky.

In any case, we’ll review the itinerary and confirm the final details with you approximately 24 hours before the experience.

Yes, you can enjoy this astro-tourism experience in Córdoba any time of year. In fact, each season offers a different way to admire the dehesa and the sky, as the light, the landscape, and the constellations visible at any given time all change.

We recommend that you make your reservation at least 15 days in advance, especially if you’d like to add some extras to personalize your experience.

To confirm your reservation at AstroDehesa, you must pay 100% of the total amount at the time of booking, either by credit or debit card at the point-of-sale terminal or by bank transfer.

Reservations are non-refundable. If you decide to cancel the experience, the amount paid will not be refunded.

If weather conditions prevent the stargazing activity from taking place, you can choose between two options:

  • Hold the dinner on the scheduled date, provided it can be held safely, and reschedule the stargazing event for a later date.
  • Postpone the entire experience (dinner and stargazing) until another day.

The new date will be arranged with you and is subject to availability. There will be no additional cost for the change, and the amount paid will be fully credited toward the rescheduled experience; no refunds will be issued.
